Imagine you're stranded. No phone signal, no agenda, no wi-fi. Just your team, a piece of ground, and the skills you're about to learn.
Cast Away is inspired by the idea of the castaway — stripped of everything modern and forced to rely on knowledge, ingenuity, and the people around you. There are no slides. There is no ice breaker. There is a knife, a ferro rod, a tarp, and a challenge.
Over the course of the experience, your team learns and applies the fundamentals of bushcraft and survival — the real skills used by military personnel and survival instructors. Everything taught is immediately tested. Everything tested has to work.
WHAT'S INVOLVED
Learn, Build and Compete.
Cast Away is fully customisable from a focused three-hour challenge to a full day or overnight residential experience. Activities include fire lighting with flint, steel and ferro rod; water filtration and purification; shelter building using tarp and natural materials; camp craft and cordage making; knife and saw safety and cutting techniques; natural navigation using shadow sticks and improvised compass; trap assembly; and bannock bread cooking over the fire.
The challenge element adds competitive pressure across all tasks — fire, water, shelter, navigation, traps, cordage, and bread — with each completed task scored. The team with the highest score at the close wins.

Learn from Proven Survival Experts.
Cast Away is led by former Royal Marines Commandos, qualified Mountain Leaders, and experienced bushcraft and survival instructors. Every skill taught has been applied in real operational environments. This is not a novelty survival day. The standard is genuine. The skills work.
